State of Delaware
“I'm excited about the cooperative energy behind this initiative to grow a promising industry and create high-quality jobs. Combining sustainability and economic development is a great way to balance Delaware's economic equation”
The Alliance's cluster of stakeholders dedicated to supporting entrepreneurship is large and growing. It includes high growth entrepreneurs, industry and academic partners, investors and government supporters. Our frequently held events, roundtables and summits ensure that these stakeholders share insights, information and knowledge.
Dedicated to encouraging sustainable innovation through chemistry
As the only organization providing services specifically targeted to the region's sustainable technology stakeholders, the Alliance's cluster-building events have proven invaluable in facilitating collaborations, partnerships and educational opportunities. These events include workshops on supply chain analysis, forums on chemical sustainability topics, lunch and learns on a myriad of topics such as how to raise seed investments to how to strategically partner with large multinational companies and supporting programs such as Inspiring Women in STEM.
The DE Sustainable Chemistry Alliance is dedicated to encouraging sustainable innovation throughout the greater Delaware and North East region. Formed in 2010, the organization's mission is to foster sustainable innovation among key stakeholders in the public and private sectors. Working with thought leaders in industry, government and academia, we help link resources in ways that can both optimize the funding essential for R&D and translate the benefits of new and sustainable discoveries in chemistry into commercial opportunities.
